ANIME FESTIVAL ASIA (AFA08) hosted the inaugural SINGAPORE ARCADE SHOWDOWN, a nationwide Arcade Gaming Competition organized by SCOGA where the game machines are sponsored by TKA Amusement. Contestants battled hard with each other in the virtual world of TEKKEN 6, KOF 98 ULTIMATE MATCH and our LATEST installment STREET FIGHTER IV.

In round robin fashion, the top 2 of each group qualified into the play-offs which was a double elimination format. Each contestant had to fight with everyone in his group respectively. The standard of each game was really high!

The Finals Results of the individual game are as follow :

STREET FIGHTER IV

• HUANG JIANHUI (Balrog) -1st Runner Up!
• WILSON CHIN (Blanka) - 2nd Runner Up!

TEKKEN 6

• BOON (Devil Jin) - 2nd Runner Up!

• TAN JIA CHUN (Ex Ryo, Iori, Roret) -1st Runner Up!
• TAN CHUN MING (Takuma, King, Krauser) - 2nd Runner Up!
